How it works

Exporting machinery from Japan

Buying machinery from another country should not feel opaque. Below is the process we follow, stage by stage, so you know what happens next and what is confirmed when.

  1. Browse machinery

Review what is currently listed. Each machine shows the details reported by the source, with a link to the original listing for reference.

  2. Select equipment

Shortlist the machines that interest you. Use the comparison tool to review specifications side by side before deciding.

  3. Request a quotation

Submit an enquiry with your destination country and requirements. Your selected machines are attached automatically.

  4. We confirm specifications and availability

Our team verifies that the machine is still available and checks the details you have asked about. If something cannot be verified, we tell you.

  5. You receive a quotation or proforma invoice

This sets out the machine, the agreed terms, and the costs applicable to your destination. Nothing is committed until you review it.

  6. Payment process

You complete the payment process agreed in the quotation. Terms and methods are set out in writing before any payment is made.

  7. Export and shipping arrangements

Shipping is coordinated according to the agreed transaction. Routes and schedules depend on your destination port and the machine.

  8. Documentation and shipment

Export documentation is prepared and the shipment proceeds as agreed. We keep you updated as each stage completes.

What is confirmed during quotation

Final specifications, availability, pricing and shipping costs are confirmed during quotation. We do not publish shipping timelines, freight rates, port charges, customs fees or tax rates on this site, because they depend on your destination, the machine and conditions at the time of shipment. Anything we quote you is given in writing.

Import requirements are your destination's rules, not ours. Age limits, inspection regimes and duties vary by country and change over time. We will share what we know for your market, but please confirm current requirements with your own customs authority or clearing agent before committing.
